Karoo Life Bed & Breakfast is situated in Queen Street in Calitzdorp. The building dates back to 1860 and has seen life as the home of the local blacksmith, lodging for overnight travelers, home of the local cobblers and more recently outstanding accommodation and food for travelers exploring the meandering route between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
Karoo Life offers three garden cottages with the main house serving as the communal social and dining areas. A large covered deck looks over the extensive garden, with views of the mountains and a tranquil swimming pool to relax in after a hard day of exploring the nearby wine cellars or adventuring into the valleys and nearby mountains.
Breakfast is served daily either in the magnificent yellow wood floor dining area in the main house or on the deck for those who want to enjoy the tranquility and views. Additional meals or packed lunches can be arranged on request and of course braai (BBQ) facilities are always available.

This charming guest house is situated on a smallholding, on the edge of Calitzdorp, 300 m off the main road and 50 km west of Oudtshoorn.
The four double en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with country style pieces. Enjoy the generous hospitality and relax in the lounge with an open fireplace, TV, games, books and kitchenette.
A country style breakfast is an option.
